Brilliant Stove and Service.

My order 21178 was for a Dik Guerts Ivar 8 wood burner and a fitting kit. I was unsure what else was needed to use the rear exit and was quickly updated with what was needed. The stove arrived really quickly but the fitting kit was not delivered at the same time. The guys chased it up and everything came a few days later. I didn't need anything more to fit the stove and flue. A quote received locally for the same stove was a lot more expensive and fitting was to be scheduled for January 2025. This stove was ordered on 5th November, all parts delivered by the 12th. Fitted on the 22 November and has been performing brilliantly since then. We love it and should have changed from an open fire earlier. So much more efficient.

Straight forward installation

I ordered a multifuel conversion kit for my DG Ivar 5 stove. The item arrived promptly and was well packaged. I needed the kit to replace the previously installed grate which had partially collapsed. I followed the diagramatic fitting instructions and the process was relatively straight forward, taking about 30 minutes to complete. The replacement kit included the side fire-bricks which I will keep until needed as the old ones still have some useful life left in them.

I already knew what make of woodburner I wanted, (having seen several in operation in Holland), a Google search showed Stovefitters where competitively priced for the woodburner and flue kit .
I phoned to discuss the purchase before ordering over the phone , and received advice from an experienced sales person .
This woodburner has replaced an English 20 + year old one in my house . It does not disappoint , it gets warmer quicker and uses at least 50% less wood than the old one .
Can not recommend it enough .
