Ivor5 High Leg

This is the 2nd Ivor5 stove I've purchased. The 1st one was a standard leg. You could cook on the top, boil a kettle. The model was a wood burner and not multi fuel, same as the 2nd one. I could keep it on a slow burn overnight no problem. In fact the only time I let it out was to take out 80 percent of the ash and leave a good bed to relight it again. The only reason for the second purchase was due to our moving house! The owners of our former house don't realise what a fantastic stove they have inherited!

Excellent stove, excellent service

Really delighted with our new stove a Dik geurts ivar 8 supplied by Stovefitter's Warehouse. I had some questions before I bought the stove and it was so helpful to be able to speak to Julian at Stovefitter's Warehouse who was able to answer all my questions and queries. I ordered the stove online and the stove arrived a few days later as planned and in perfect condition. I cannot fault this company and the fact that they are very easy to contact via phone is a major bonus. This company and stove was recommended to me by a friend and I would have no hesitation in recommending both to anyone else. 21684

Phenomenal wood burner

This is the 5th woodburner I have used extensively and I have to say I am blown away by its performance.

Incredibly efficient, the most controllable burner I have used, over night burn with no effort, not even closing the vent right down. In fact, nearly 24hrs after the last log was put on, there are still glowing embers under all the ash…

Rarely have to clean the glass, as once the fire is hot, it burns pretty much all the soot away.

Had a strange smell for the first few days, until I really got the temperature up for an hour or so, now its fine.

Finally, the 'flame dance' you can get when you close the vent is totally mesmerising!

Highly recommend this amazing wood burner!
