We got the Saltfire ST-X5 from Stovefitter’s Warehouse because the website had lots of useful information that helped us choose between the various makes and models. The price was good and ordering was a breeze, with the Stove turning up on the day it was promised and in excellent condition. This stove is VERY heavy, but feels like a solid bit of engineering. They recommend burning the stove in slowly to cure the paint, but it doesn’t take long and after the initial few uses the stove is performing really well. It has a lot of control and we’re very pleased with the purchase and the buying experience.
Having successfully and happily purchased from Stovefitters a few years back, it was a no-brainier to use them for a second wood burner.
Apart from their competitive prices, Stovefitters have an extensive range of in-stock quality products - from the stove itself down to the humble useful fitting pack.
We opted for another (excellent) Saltfire STX5, Duraflue liner, stainless steel hanging cowl, vitreous pipe and a few other “must haves”.
It was just so very easy to add everything required to a single basket - job done at a good price. All was delivered when promised and the stove is now up and running as a self-installation under BR.
After lots of research, Stovefitter’s Warehouse were one of the few suppliers that actually had the stove I wanted physically in stock, I loved how it gave a real time stock level on the website so I could be 100% sure, as I tried many other suppliers who claimed the stove was “in stock” but after further investigation it was either on back order or completely unavailable! The price was also cheaper than anywhere else and delivery was quick and hassle free, the poor delivery guy was exhausted after he went above and beyond to drag it up our gravel path! Thanks Stovefitter’s Warehouse!
