During the winter of 2018/19 Stovefitter's went in search of a modern, large screen, Ecodesign wood burning stove that we could retail between £599 and £799. We tested numerous models and it was the Firewire range that you now see that came out on top.

Manager Arran who runs the showroom and warehouse has a Firewire 400. The Firewire is a wood-only stove with a large viewing window and simple yet effective single control that keeps the glass cleaner than any stove we sell - including models costing many hundreds of pounds more.

Please note that the small retainer that prevents ash falling from the stove no longer has the slots shown in our images. The small bar was re-designed to prevent fine ash seeping through the slots.

Everything from start to finish was just great, the ordering of the stove and accessories to delivery was first class. Our stove has just been fitted just over a week ago and loving it. So easy to use and control, very happy indeed with our choice. Would it hesitate to purchase again or recommend to family and friends to use this company. New stove

New stove fitted a couple of weeks ago and looks great! Was advised what stove would fit the space I had and I’m very pleased with it. Haven’t lit it yet but in sure it will look amazing and give good heat. Would recommend.
