Woodford Chadwick Multifuel Wood Burning Stove (three sizes, 5kW, 8kW and 12 kW)

The fire is perfect. Burns incredibly well, and warms my space amazingly. No need for the heating on! Well made, robust fire with an amazing big screen to view the flames. The flue kit came with everything you need to install the fire, and the addition to add an extra long flue was great as we needed that(was only £12 more). The delivery was prompt and secure, the fire was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Before deciding on the fire, we rang the shop to get advice and we were given the advice we needed. The website it easy to navigate, and it was pleasant to read the 'about us' section. This really is what made us buy from this website, it added a personalized touch and we felt secure purchasing with them. Thankyou.

Stove was collected and installed by one of stovefitters listed installers, efficiently and neatly.
As for the stove , it is well made and good looking, I had a Clearview for 28 years which was excellent, but now too expensive for me , the Chadwick has a few design snags it tends to spill ash out onto the fireplace hearth, and one bad problem itji spills smoke when refuelling especially with solid fuel, so you have to be quick and get the door shut, this seems to be the flue baffle plate design and a shallow fuel box, i will monitor it as the clearview never really had this problem being a bigger stove.
But value for money it is.

I have now received my stove which is exactly as described and looks great. However, the delivery was postponed for one day. This was disappointing considering that the delivery date was chosen to give them a few days to sort out their new stock. I had to take the initiative to find out what was happening - All it would have taken was a simple text from the supplier. I might have deducted one star for overall poor communication. Nevertheless they regained the star because the driver of the delivery van was really helpful. The way the stove was packaged with various protective layers was excellent and deserves 5 Stars Plus. They also deserve 5 Stars for a really good printed booklet. However, the illustrations could be improved because the figures are only just decipherable - the illustrations are too black and could be improved with some shades of grey.
They supplier has offered a 2 year warrantee on the glass door if I write a positive review - I want to emphasise that my comments have not been influenced by this offer; but it did encourage me to write the review. The website is very good (I only looked at the one product that I bought because 12KW stoves are difficult to find). The details of the product are comprehensive. Further, the details of what you need to buy in order to install the stove are excellent, even if you are not going to install it yourself. It helps you evaluate quotations you may receive for the installation. The lifetime guarantee is a big plus and deserves 5 stars.
Their flue price seems high if you do a search on the web.
